Opened to the public on 29 March 2015, the impressive main exhibit allows you to learn about the lighthouse and its keepers and find out about Trinity House, the organisation that operates the lighthouse and has safeguard the mariner for over 500 years. The exhibition contains a number of interactive displays and historical artefacts and offers the opportunity to encounter a stormy sea journey in the exhilarating zone ‘Into The Dark’.

Great historic site and amazing walks.

This amazing lighthouse is worth a look at. Brilliant please to watch the sunset. The lobster pot has a great cafe to suit all needs. Portland bill has some very interesting little private beach huts dotted all over the place. Great views from the coastal path which continues all around this beautiful island.
