20 miles of roads and woodland trails through marshes, hardwood hammocks & lakes. Lots of bird-watching, nature photography, jogging & bicycling.

This park is basically a native beast sanctuary. Small gators that get picked up in suburbia are often brought here. Educational tours are available or you can bring your bike and ride the trails. I would not recommend walking this park but biking it is a blast. There is one section of woods where the ground cover is wild spearmint and it smells like gum when you go through. It is fae magic if ever that was a thing. Have your camera ready.

This city-managed park is located in Christmas and features oppWhat was originally designed as an experiment that has succeeded and transformed the land into a birding destination featuring more than 220 bird species and 63 butterfly species. For hikers or cyclists, there are; many routes and loops that can be created from the park's trails. One birding loop is two miles while another easy loop trail is 3.9 miles. Parking is available at the entrance of the park, which offers free admission. Motorized vehicles and pets are prohibited. But horses and bikes are welcome.
