Bird-watching Over the years, more than 100 different bird species have been observed at the treatment ponds in Fjugesta. In the open water surfaces, it is common to see several species of ducks such as mallards, woodpeckers and coots. At the shorelines you can see smaller shore pipits, drill snipers and tufted lapwings. In the reeds, brown marsh hawks nest regularly. Many small birds nest in the deciduous groves and in the area around the treatment ponds. Here you can see finches, yellow sparrows and ospreys, among others. It is common to see swallows looking for birds over the water. Here the tower sailor is also looking for food.
