Foothill Regional Park in east Windsor is a 211-acre wilderness park in the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains. The park features thick oak woodlands, rolling hillsides, ridge-top views of northern Sonoma County, three ponds for bass and bluegill fishing, grassy meadows, and spring wildflowers. Foothill Regional Park offers 6.8 miles of trails that vary from the challenging climb up Alta Vista Trail to the easy stroll along Three Lakes Trail.

Easy hiking trails and absolutely beautiful views. Very peaceful, can run, walk, bike. 3 small lakes, lots of local birds. Numerous trails clearly marked. Maps available on line and at the entrance to the park.
Hundreds of acres with trails running through the hills available for exploration. Listen to the birds and life, observe the local plant life, or sit by the water on the banks of a small lake.
Take a walk/hike in the Foothill Regional Park. There are so many trails within this park. You can choose your destiny if youd like something a little easier. Or if you feel like a champ and want a challenge, climb the Alta Vista trail.
