If you want anything stronger than beer, you won't find it in the grocery shops. You can only find wine and spirits in "VInmonopolet" shops. Vinmonopolet has very short opening hours(16:00 on saturdays), is closed on Sundays and on most national holidays. If you want wine, we recommend planning and checking the opening hours in ahead of time. Although one thing is great with the "vinmonopolet" shops; the employees are very nice and knowledgeable, so they can really help you out.
