Great place to visit real and (still running) historic trains. Great for kids and underrated for adults. *Special moonlight train includes live music and food (bring vintage attire to relive the history) Rides range from 30 minutes to 1 hour. Night train usually runs Wednesday and Saturday, check to verify.

Sugar Pine Railway - Strawberry Branch is a 5.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Long Barn, California and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking and mountain biking and is accessible year-round. This is a wide and basically flat trail. There are lots of wildflowers to be found and the fishing in the river is great. One of my favorite places to go hiking!

Only about .5 miles up from the cabin, this is a great 3 mile hike. We recommend if you have two cars, parking one at Frazier Flats so you can hike down and drive back.
