Silver Lake Park is the largest park in Fenton. It is 35.4 acres and was developed in 1974. It is located at 16100 Jennings Road off of Silver Parkway. It is a remarkably diverse park with activities to suit everyone.
At 35.4 acres, it is the largest park in the City of Fenton. The Silver Lake Ski Club performs every Tuesday night during the summer and Fenton's Fourth of July Freedom Festival is capped off with fireworks at the park. Silver Lake Park highlights 300ft of sandy beach with two lifeguards during the season, bathhouse, nature trails, two pavilions with electricity, picnic areas with grills, ball fields, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, badminton courts, kids play equipment, a 9-hole Disc Golf course and a concession stand. The beach is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Outside of this time there is no fee to enter park and it is open year round making it a popular spot for cross-country skiers and Disc Golfers.
