Miles of pristine sands and clear waters wait for you at our local Blue Flag awarded beach. There is an artisan pop up pizza pop store and also a small takeout cafe serving sublime pasties! Historically, a teepee would be on Lligwy to enjoy some chilled afternoon music and beach vibes. We hope this will return in 2021! There is a carpark here, but the beach is only a 20 minute or so walk from our Moelfre home. It can get a little busy in the day, so head early to enjoy it to yourselves!

Wide, sandy beach located just around the corner from the village of Moelfre. The beach of Traeth Lligwy is backed by low sand dunes giving it a wild, open feel, which is exactly what it is.
A glorious sandy beach just outside Moelfre - 7 miles approx 15 - 20 minute drive. Some good rock pools when the tide is out. Shallow beach with the tide going out a long way. There is a pay and display car park next to the beach and public toilets (not sure on opening times especially since covid changes) Just by the car park is an independent cafe and wood fired pizza shack. Opening times vary ( although always shut by 6pm) They tend to be open in the school holidays, particularly during the better weather and at weekends.
