I grew up in Spey Bay, this is a popular place to catch sight of the Dolphins in the Firth or maybe an Osprey on the river.
Keep your fingers crossed this is a good place to see our native pod of Dolphins
A beautiful area where you can walk along the shingle beach and see where the River Spey meets the sea. Ospreys and Dolphins both frequent here.
Around 30 mins drive, and you’ll find a completely different beach landscape, a pebbled wild shore where the mighty River Spey meets the sea, it’s a great landscape and also a brilliant wildlife spotting location, pack your binoculars. There’s a lovely river side path that takes you over the old railway bridge towards Garmouth. Treat yourself on the return journey with a cup of tea and a cake if you fancy at the Doplphin Centre Cafe.
