Lagunilla is an antiques market, and it´s fun to walk around and see what you can find. Prices are a bit high, but you may find a good deal. There are other types of stands too, selling cool t-shirts and beer, hats, sneakers and even a stand where you can get a piercing!
This market has everything vintage and they serve 40 oz "micheladas" that you can drink while you shop. Just be aware that it's a busy place and many people get pickpocketed here. This is a local Sunday hangout not a touristy spot, so go with people who speak Spanish and know the city well.
Great antiques and used stuff market, great Sunday activity to look around and enjoy one of Mexico City's best pastime.
The Lagunilla Sunday market is my favorite market in the city. The vintage items have so many stories to tell. Always feel like on a treasure hunting tour and the time passes so fast while you are there!
The iconic antiques market. Go to shop or just to drink micheladas, coconut water, piña colas, palomas, etc. etc. ONLY ON SUNDAYS - it is NOT the brick and mortar market (dangerous) you want to go to but rather the "tianguis" (pretty safe). Go early - 9 or 10 am to get the best stuff. It starts to shut down around 3/4pm.
