There is ample parking and a culdesac. It's fisherman friendly with a turn around driveway to accommodate dories or rafts. The valley is known for its orchards, wineries and vineyards. Elderberry's suite is a comfortable, cozy one-bedroom apartment attached to our classic 1908 farmhouse and located on a 4-acre herb farm, herbal education center in the unique creative town of Paonia. If you love nature, herbs, orchards or vineyards, you'll feel right at home here. Minnesota creek runs through the farm; we are right on the edge of town, adjacent to Juniper & Sage hills with views of beautiful snow-capped mountains . And ... we have decent fiber internet for Zooming!

In the winter, enjoy the cozy gas fireplace in the living room. Solar panels on the roof will offset any electricity you use. A work station with views of the quiet garden and 150mbps fiber internet will enable you to work or attend school remotely.

Sunshine Cottage

Live like a local in our cozy little cottage! We renovated a garage which is located by our house on 10 acres of land and recently put in a seating area with Pergola. Our land is south facing on a mesa with a beautiful view of the mountains. We grow 5 acres of medicinal herbs, vegetables and berries. Lots of coming and going on the farm so hopefully you like people and be prepared for a lot of activity. Looking forward to hosting you:)

The Solargon

The Solargon is inspired by elements of Asian yurts, Navajo hogons and Native American hidatsa lodges. Combined with passive solar design principles, the solargon is an octagonal structure designed to take full advantage of the sun. The vaulted ceilings and plentiful windows make the solargon bright and inviting. This is a perfect spot for solo travelers or couples looking for a quiet, off the beaten path place to get away from it all.
