The Old Game Keepers cottage at Forest Lodge is a hidden gem in beautiful woodland near Glastonbury in rural Somerset. With abundant wildlife, fabulous countryside walks and views from the doorstep, it’s truly a special place to relax around nature. There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained with private woods, trampoline, swing, football net and Wii. Everything you would need is provided along with fresh eggs from our free roaming hens when laying, coffee pods and wood for the wood burner.

Brixham is a short drive away and famous for one of the busiest fishing ports in the UK and home to some of the finest sea food you can imagine, also with Churston Golf course nearby for those who have a handicap ! This property is a ideal base for exploring the beautiful coast and countryside, with picturesque villages and outstanding coastline it makes it one of the top places to holiday in the UK.

It is a hub for you to use as a point to walk to all the mystical, spiritual and beautiful sights of Glastonbury, or simply people watch from the living room. We have created a home that is comfortable, cosy and wonderful with everything you need whilst you are on holiday. Our home is designed to let you unwind in our garden, sleep comfortably after long walks and enjoy time together.

The cottage is nestled in the lovely village of Wyke Regis, tucked away just off the quiet Old High street and close to both Weymouth and Portland. Perfect for small families/couples + dogs. The apartment is a two minute walk from the working harbour and all it has to offer. West Bay is famous for being a part of the Jurassic Coast, Chesil Beach and being the filming location for several well known TV shows, most recently Broadchurch.
