The cabin, originally built as a mountain family getaway, has recently been renovated as an Airbnb for those seeking outdoor activities and tranquility. The rustic cabin is also accompanied by a picnic shelter with a working rock fireplace, loft, and an additional outdoor bathroom (in season). Approximately 2 acres of field and partially wooded property are available to guests. No pets.

Just minutes from George Washington Natural Forest! Only about 30 minutes from Staunton.

Our home is one of 4 current family houses on an active working farm that has been in operation since the late 18th century. The home is rich in history but recent renovations make it quite comfortable. The large patio is perfect for watching the sunset over Jack Mountain or the moon rise over the Bullpasture. Clear nights are great for stargazing.

Tiny Tree House

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This brand new, 550 square foot tiny house in the trees has everything you need, and is designed with a local feel. Minutes from George Washington National Forest and dry river. The cabin is only 20 minutes from downtown Harrisonburg. Note that this cabin has one bedroom downstairs, and one bed upstairs in the loft area accessible by ship ladder style steps. The loft is a sleeping area but does not have it’s own door.

Stony Brook Nordic Cabin

A bright open space with large windows and high ceilings that compliment the view of surrounding foliage. A large screened-in porch at the front of the house is perfect for intimate gatherings. A hot tub is available alongside the house in addition to a two-person outdoor shower, and corn hole boards and a fire pit offer additional options for family fun. You won’t have cell phone signal out here -and the WiFi isn’t strong enough to run too many devices at one time.

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
