Our three warm and cosy pods are situated behind the main farm steading in a quiet setting away from the road and next to a small beck. The pods all have underfloor heating so you are guaranteed to be warm no matter the season. With excellent access from junction 36 of the M6, we are situated at the top of the beautiful Troutbeck Valley, with views down towards Windermere Lake. Lakeland cottage in Dockray by Ullswater & Keswick

The Cottage at 15th century Sparket Mill

This is the old miller’s cottage of a 15th century mill, situated in secluded part of the Northern Lake District National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site. Stay in a unique one bedroom apartment , with its own private entrance, bedroom upstairs with a kingsize bed. There is a downstairs lounge and en-suite. Situated on the corner of a river, surrounded by wildlife and wildflower meadows, only 5 minutes from the shores of Ullswater and 15 from the mountain ranges of Helvellyn and Blencathra.

Mary Meadows - Character Lakeland Barn Conversion

Mary Meadows is a traditional lakeland barn conversion located in Dockray, near Ullswater in the Lake District national park. The property offers character and charm whilst providing all the comforts of modern living. It is ideally suited for families with children, couples wishing to stay together or for one couple. There is a pub in the village serving good local food and drinks, and lots of activities in surrounding area, including low level and high mountain walks right from the doorstep.

Camping pod in western lakes

Our cosy pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. Inside the pod is a double bed, a single futon mattress, kettle, toaster and oil filled radiator, carpeted floor, black out curtains. no bedding is supplied. The pod is small but cosy. The onsite games room provides extra space. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.
