It has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It is a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub 'The Riflemans Arms'.

BOWNESS on WINDERMERE short walk to Centre & Lake

Ferndown is a detached house on a quiet, private road less than 10 minutes walk away from Bowness Bay, the Passenger Boats and all the restaurants, bars and shops in Bowness. Windermere railway station is a short taxi ride away. The property is ideally located on a lovely site with far reaching views. Your spacious accommodation has recently been entirely renovated and is a completely self contained unit, located on the first floor with its own private entrance via your south facing balcony.

Our beautiful camping pod sleeps 2 adults comfortably but could sleep 3 adults or 2 plus 1 young child. Pet friendly. There is a double bed in the pod. Based on our working farm with panoramic views of local fells and Skiddaw. We have 3 camping pods all sited for guest privacy but could all be hired by friends.
