This 100-year-old guesthouse blends rustic charm with modern updates. Enjoy stunning mountain and desert views in quiet Teasdale, just minutes from Capitol Reef. The garage door opens for breathtaking scenery, and the high desert night skies are incredible for stargazing. Fireplace Note: The main heat source is a wood stove, which keeps the space cozy. Space heaters are provided, but in very cold weather, guests should be comfortable starting and maintaining a fire. Instructions are included.

A couples’ retreat, the Canyon Wren Cottage is sculpted into bedrock amongst pinion pines and old growth mountain mahogany brush. A picturesque erosion sculpted sandstone monolith rises four stories at the edge of the yard, just beyond the cottage. The approach to the cottage from Teasdale Road, is down a short lane crossing through woodland fringed meadow with a wetland on one side and alfalfa cultivation on the other. The backdrop is beautiful rock form, including a large balanced rock.

It is really ideal for 1-2 people, but there's a comfy sofa bed as well for a 3rd person, and a long padded bench for a fourth. Large deck for stargazing!
