Rose Farm Lodge - peaceful, rural Norfolk getaway

Our newly-built, self-contained lodge in Norfolk is situated in a quiet rural hamlet not far from a country village with a pub, grocery store, butchers and coffee shop. A perfect opportunity to get away from it all, with beautiful views and a paddock area (also for guest use). 10 minute drive from Swaffham and Dereham (with access to supermarkets and shops), 30 minutes to Kings Lynn or Norwich, 40 minutes to the North Norfolk coast. We have a lock box available for self check-in if needed.

In the heart of the village, the cottage is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Grade II listed 18th Century building of brick and flint previously owned by the Earl of Leicester. It is set well back from the road with a good-sized front garden with parking for 2 cars and a lime shaded, south facing terrace at the back with views over the Nar valley. Recent high end quartz work top kitchen fitted . Has both washing machine and dishwasher. Dog friendly for up to two dogs,but garden not enclosed.

Self contained annexe with minimal cooking facilities - downstairs open plan kitchenette with microwave and hob, lounge area (TV/dvd player), dining area. Upstairs in master bedroom king size bed - separate shower room with toilet and wash handbasin. Second bedroom (request booking please) single bed. Outside toilet and fridge if required. Welcome pack for your first breakfast. Kitchen facilities suitable for breakfast and light lunches. Takeaways and pub restaurants locally.

The accommodation is ideal for a couple or small family. (Access to bed 2 is via bed 1. The shower room is on the ground floor). Situated in rural Norfolk the location is ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers or those wishing to explore the Norfolk coast and the abundance of stately homes in the area including Sandringham.
