The Fox Den is a small-but-cute suite in S. Main next to the bouldering park. It faces an actual fox den—which is how it got its name. It's a 2-minute walk to the Arkansas River, where you’ll find miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. You'll also be just a block from the South Main Square and a short stroll from the shops and restaurants of downtown BV. The Den is a completely private suite attached to a main house with a separate entrance and lockbox for convenient self-check in. STR-234

Tucked Away Stay - Close To Town and In Nature

Come enjoy our private 5 acres of Pinon trees with the convenience of being 5 minutes from town. Enjoy the joys of children on property and views of incredible mountains with the wildlife that frequents our "back yard". Relax in our private guest area locked off from the rest of our home including a kitchenette and laundry area, all separated from the rest of the house by a custom built and locking doorway. We accept dogs but cannot accept cats due to other guests’ allergies. There is a pet fee.

Quiet and private, storage space for bikes, ski gear etc. Large open living with living room/dining room/reading area/kitchen and two bedrooms with spacious bathroom. Bathroom has shower only (sorry- large soaking tub is in other apartment, which is adjoining to family apartment). Perfect get-away, rent both sides to sleep 8-10. Fully stocked and supplied. Fresh farm eggs and coffee/tea/hot chocolate/cream included. Collect your own eggs, if you want!

We own 36 acres, including Round Hill, with amazing mountain views all around. We are backed up to National Forest and BLM land. We're located two miles south of Poncha Pass Summit. Only 15-20 minutes to downtown Salida and 30 minutes to Monarch Mountain Ski Area. We have a fire pit and propane grill outside the entryway.
