Parks & Nature

This is the largest urban forest in Latin America -- unmissable. If you are by car follow a map and go through Horto (the neighbourhood) or book a tour (there are many available). Lots of waterfalls ideal for a refreshing shower after the beach if you manage to go up there.

Excellent barbecued meet Brazilian style but just go if you like a crowd -- it's usually quite busy but worth the wait. Hipodromo just across the road is also good for a chopp (pint).
