Favorite cozy little hangout by Manito Park. Good place for a light breakfast or lunch, and good coffee. Grab one togo to take on your walk through the park:)

Spokane's only comedy club... More like a comedy warehouse. They can get some good guests, but I'm not making any promises... You should most likely laugh several times. It tends to be a bit crass, so if you're sensitive to vulgarity, I'd skip it.

Built to host the '74 World's Fair, the Park has seen Spokane through its many changes over the decades. There are now many changes being made to the park itself. I do recommend strolling around the perimeter, but don't be surprised if there is some construction going on.

Favorite hike in town! About a 20 min drive away. Not too strenuous. Leads to The Rocks of Sharon (bolted for sport climbing), and a gorgeous view of the city. Much of the trail is well shaded for hot days. You can Mountain Bike here too, but there are a lot of hikers.

Great for hiking, light mountain biking, swimming, kayaking, and picnics. Perfect place to take the family for a day out! There is a farmer's market on Saturday mornings in Liberty Lake as well:)

Beautiful hiking area along the river! A Spokane 'must see' if you love being out in nature, you can't go wrong at Bowl & Pitcher. This one does require a parks pass for $10.
