Local Driving
If you are driving in Tucson, you’ve probably noticed our left turn lights come after all the traffic has gone straight through the intersection. Some intersections have leading left turn signals, and these are marked with signs that say “Leading Left Turn.” This isn’t necessarily tricky, but it could catch you off guard.
The next traffic issue is the “Michigan Left.” There are some intersections that do not allow left turns. In these cases go through the intersection, make a U turn at the next left, go back to the intersection and turn right.
