Enjoy the beauty of each season at our historic Tiny Log Cabin, built in the 1800s and newly renovated on a beautiful farm setting. Please read all of the description below, and scroll to the bottom before booking! Note—the cabin can be warm in the summer and chilly in the winter due to the logs and chinking. There is a window unit AC and heater in the winter. Also note—the full restroom/shower is a 30 yard walk to the basement of our home. Kuerig with coffee. No refrigerator or microwave.

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.

My idyllic stone/log home is located near quaint Washington, Virginia, home of the famous "Inn at Little Washington". Secluded but accessible, it is perched on the edge of a foothill. Enjoy magnificent views, wonderful gardens and hiking trails at your front door. Only 1.5 hrs fom Washington, DC and 20 minutes from Shenandoah National Park or canoeing on Shenandoah River. Wineries, antique stores, quality restaurants and special music events abound. And Fido is welcome!!

The property has an excellent location, only 1.5 hours from Washington, DC and convenient to Culpeper, Warrenton, Front Royal and Interstate 66. It is approximately 15 miles from Old Rag Mountain and a 15 minute drive to the Shenandoah National Park, which offers an amazing array of waterfalls, canyons, trails, and hikes.

The unit is fully furnished with a full bath, full kitchen, off street parking, and private deck and entrance. We are a short drive to the park or a short walk to downtown Sperryville.

A beautiful old farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 1880 farmhouse sits on a small stream that runs through the entire fifty-five acre property. The house is clean, minimally decorated, with pasture views out of every window. The farm is located 80 miles from Washington DC and just down the road from Sperryville, Shenandoah National Park, Old Rag Mountain, Luray Caverns, The Inn at Little Washington and other local attractions.
