An ideal place to touch base if you are looking to escape to the countryside and explore what this picturesque area has to offer. Chipping Norton has great transport links with regular bus services to Woodstock, Oxford, Banbury and Stratford-upon-Avon. There are train stations in two nearby villages, Kingham and Charlbury, both with direct train links to London.

We are also close to Daylesford Farmshop and Soho Farmhouse and are surrounded by rolling countryside for lovely longs walks. There are plenty of great pubs and restaurants to visit. Chipping Norton is a hub of activity with a bustling well-stocked bookshop, cafés and restaurants. The sheperd’s hut is a quiet haven, equipped with a wood burning stove, mini oven, a power electric shower, underfloor heating, cosy armchairs and a king sized bed. With its beautifully appointed linens and furnishings our shepard’s hut is the perfect base for your next break.

Please note: The staircase is quite steep due to the age of the property, so we do not recommend that small children stay here.
