The New River Hideaway is the perfect New River vacation spot where you can swim, tube, canoe and fish just steps from the house with all the comforts of home. Relax on the new dock or by the firepit and listen to the sounds of the river. The fireplace makes a cozy year round spot to relax. The double decks and front lawn are great for taking in the gorgeous river and mountain views. Bring your boat, we have a ramp. Limit of 2 pets welcome w/prior approval. No parties. Quiet hours after 10pm.

Pets: We welcome pets. If you have more than 2 pets, please contact us for approval. There is a pet fee of $50 for the entire stay.

New River Trail Cottage

Built in 1880 by Dr. A.C. Shepherd, this historic cottage has served as a doctor’s office, a general store, and a boarding house. The cottage is located at marker p12 on the New River Trail. From the wrap around porch, you can listen to the rapids cascading into Claytor Lake. A boat launch is conveniently located less than 1/2 mile away. The cottage boasts historically preserved features as well as luxury and comfort for guests. It is the perfect location to play, relax, or both!

Bear Claw Cove II We are located in Rocky Ridge camp ground . ( This cabin does have neighbors) directly across the road from Pipestem State Park . Where you can enjoy Ziplining,hiking, Horse Back riding, and more. Two Bicycles can be found in the shed to take a ride to the park along with two kayaks (take them to spend the day at bluestone lake only a 13 minute drive) .Winterplace is only 30 miles away. Community pool-seasonal . Pet friendly-with pet fee. Come stay in a log cabin!

Up A Creek on Claytor Lake

Enjoy looking at the lake from almost every room in the house. Wake up in one of 3 private bedrooms or the sunroom (daybed and trundle bed) looking at the water. Have coffee on the porch while the sun rises, walk straight into the lake from the boat landing, enjoy relaxing on the patio, lay out in the sun, jump off the private dock, build a sandcastle on the beach, and then finish your day with a bonfire in the fire pit while still looking at the lake with the moon shining down.
