This property is 1 mile up a dirt road. The road can be steep and bumpy in places . We have had over 1200 people up here with no problems. This is just a disclaimer, so you are aware before you book. Rustic and cozy 1920s vintage time capsule cabin with mid century furnishings and original kitchen and appliances. Pet friendly! Unplug for a few days with NO WIFI/Internet. If you need these amenities, another place would be better. Hiking from your doorstep, Lake Isabella 10 minute drive down the hill, with boating, swimming, and fishing, and just a few miles up the road to Kernville, with white water rafting, fly fishing, and great restaurants alongs the Kern river. Soak up the history of Kernville Ranch in the all natural cedar hot tub after a day on the river, watch the horses frolic in front of pink and purple mountains. Plunge into or practice your casting in our private river (Runs April through December). Originally built in the 1890s. Nestled in over 14 acres of water meadow. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.

Come get away from the city and it's crazy ways. We are located on a quiet street where little happens, but we're close enough to where things do happen. Hiking trails, the lake, river, parks, markets, stores, etc... Our place is quiet, usually, and we are very friendly. We can serve kosher breakfast upon request (not included in reservation cost). The room counts with its private entrance and a full, also private, restroom. It's not a huge place, but very nice🤩
