Liberty University is about a 10 minute drive, and The Blue Ridge Parkway is about 30. You may even spot deer or neighborhood chickens in the yard. We have sought to equip our home to a high standard and to anticipate your needs by providing all the necessities. No pets, service animals, or assistant animals are permitted (this exemption is approved by AirBNB).

‼️PLEASE NOTE: The driveway is well-maintained gravel, but it is steep. To preserve its condition and avoid getting spinning tires, 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive is highly recommended. Thank you for your understanding!‼️ Woody’s is the perfect place to rest and relax. This gem of a cabin is nestled in a beautiful part of Virginia, surrounded by the majestic George Washington National Forest. Woody’s is only 30 minutes from Madison Heights and 37 minutes from downtown Lynchburg.

Black Water Junction Cabin

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.
