Lora's Lair

Full home available for rent near to the Creeper Trail. Damascus is known for its multiple trails and the gateway to Mount Rogers National Recreation area. The Appalachian Trail runs through Damascus as well as the Creeper Trail and is within walking distance of the house. My home has a large master suite with a Jacuzzi tub and shower stall. The master also has a wall mounted TV above the gas fire logs with a sitting area. The other two bedrooms have full size beds. The couch is a queen sleeper

Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood across from Damascus Town Park, this home is just steps from downtown shops, dining, and bike rentals. Come for the beautiful fall colors, bike the Virginia Creeper Trail, hike the AT, fish the Holston River, or relax with coffee on the front porch. Here you'll find a perfect home base for small town charm and big mountain adventures.

Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

Enjoy the town park located beside the river right across the street from your home, or enjoy our grill and fire ring each evening.

River House

The River House is a quiet two story farm house that sits on the South Fork of the Holston River. It is halfway between the trail town of Damascus and historic Abingdon. Enjoy the relaxing wrap around porch where you can hear and see the sights of the river. A short walk from the driveway is the Virginia Creeper Trail, the perfect place to hike, bike, or just walk with family. Fish along the bank of the river or take a short trip to the town of Abingdon to visit the Barter Theatre.

Beaver Dam Bungalow, Heart of Damascus Tranquility

Beaver Dam Bungalow is our place of tranquility & activity. Secluded, yet very short walk to town shops & restaurants, Appalachian Trail, town park, bikes shops/shuttles and Virginia Creeper Trail. Our Bungalow is actually over 2,000 square feet. With 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, two living areas, fenced yard on all 4 sides, front porch, two decks & the soothing sound of Beaver Dam Creek, you'll have plenty of indoor and outdoor space for making memories with your family and friends.

With the Appalachian Trail steps from the front door and the Virginia Creeper Trail a block and a half behind the cottage, this is the perfect base to explore southwestern VA. Located on the main street in downtown Damascus, this cottage sleeps 12-13 people with 3 full baths. Escape your hectic life/work and relax with family and friends. The house is steps away from exciting outdoor hiking/biking, streams, nature watching, fly fishing, and great local retailers and eateries
