If you like trail riding the trail heads are near by. Bring your boat or use our row boat. Free boat launch about a mile away. Enjoy the sandy beach and clear water. We are pet friendly, but please do not allow pets to go into neighbors yards. Do not park on grass Summer months weekly rentals only. Friday to Friday.

Come enjoy the spacious Hilltop Cottage located near the gorgeous Lake Margrethe! Conveniently located 2 walking blocks from the waters edge and close to snowmobile and ORV trails, this cottage has everything needed for a great up-north getaway. Located a 1/4 mile from the snowmobile trails you can ride from the front door to the trails, or from the trailhead nearby (see photos for proximity). Road end lake access, as well as 1.2 miles from the only public boat launch and state park on the lake.

Holy Waters Hideout

Enjoy sharing this Ausable river front home by staying in a private lower-level walkout. WE LIVE ABOVE. This gorgeous log home is on the famous Holy waters. The bottom story is a finished lower level with a separate entrance and living area from the homeowners above. The suite has a walk out onto the patio with a gentle slope to 200 ft of rocky bottom river frontage. This is located five miles from the city of Grayling. You will be close to hiking trails, hiking, snowmobile trails, and skiing.

Located 3 mi. west of the small town of Frederic, Mi, & situated on 20 acres of land, this rustic log cabin provides a peaceful respite from the hectic pace of urban life. The property is bounded on 3 sides by the Au Sable State Forest. Situated in a relatively remote portion of the lower peninsula, guests are virtually assured a tranquil stay. Whether you seek a romantic get away with someone special, or a lively get together with friends or family, this place offers something for everyone.

Cozy cabin on 20 acres(occasional neighbor across road) where you can enjoy snowmobiling in Grayling/Gaylord area or ATV riding in the Frederic area. Just minutes from Hartwick Pines State Park or Forbush Corner for hiking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. 20 minute drive from treetops resort in Gaylord. Camp Grayling (near I-75) holds occasional trainings see their FB for schedules.

Welcome to our family friendly, centrally located and fully stocked home perfect for outdoor activities or relaxation. Go exploring with easy access to snowmobile trails, 1 mile to lake Margrethe, and 4 miles to the downtown restaurants and public golf course. Bring your own or rent kayaks to go downriver. Or stay at the house to play board games, darts, basketball, and yard games. Enjoy the sound of taps from the army base while you sit by the bonfire pit.

Au Sable River Getaway

One mile from the Mason Wilderness Tract, view eagles, deer and other wildlife out the front door, relax beside the peaceful South Branch of the Au Sable, a trout stream (catch and release, please), hunt in fall, enjoy cross-country skiing at several nearby trails including the 12-mile-long Mason Tract Trail, ski rentals, lessons and trails nearby. The Morel Cottage

** Bookings now available 6 months in advance ** Morel Cottage is a cozy 650sq ft, completely renovated, a-frame. It is perfect for singles, couples or a small group. The cottage features an open concept with a spiral staircase to the loft bedroom. There is a log queen bed upstairs and a roll away, queen, raised air mattress available for additional sleeping in the living space. Standard amenities are provided with full laundry on site.
