There is lake access for water based activities and amenities on site - pool, activities, etc. a one-off fee is payable. An open plan kitchen/ living area, with recliner sofas, plenty of cooking equipment and a dishwasher. There is central heating and a decked outside area with views to distant fells.

Wansfell Holme is a beautiful Grade 2 Listed period house set in a perfect location in the Lake District National Park, now a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have incredible views over Lake Windermere (100 yards from the house), and there is easy access to the lake, woods and fells . In addition, Waterhead and Ambleside are within easy walking distance, and we are more or less central for visits to other parts of the Lake District by car.
