The Old Sunday School is located in the picturesque and peaceful village of Harrowbarrow with stunning views of the Tamar Valley and beyond. The Grade II listed former Wesleyan Sunday School retains many of its original features and has been recently refurbished to a high standard with a contemporary interior including a large ensuite bedroom with dressing area and glass partition giving a mezzanine feel to the beautiful open-plan living space. Apple Loft in the Tamar Valley

The Apple Loft is an light and open barn conversion for two , looking out over the idyllic countryside of Latchley and the Tamar Valley. Our guests love the stillness, the space and the beauty of the rural location. Dog and Baby friendly it is perfectly situated for exploring Devon and Cornwall, and close to Tavistock, Dartmoor, Plymouth and the coasts. The Apple Loft is close to the Tamara Coast to Coast Way, a trail that runs all the way along the river Tamar from North to South Coasts.

Hares Lodge is situated at the bottom of our farm road, giving uninterrupted views down the Tamar Valley and the river Tamar and on to Plymouth Sound. We are near the historic town of Tavistock, national trust house Cotehele, and of course Dartmoor National park which can be seen from the Lodge. We are five minutes away, by car, from the village train station which takes you into the historic maritime town of Plymouth. The Eden project is 1.5 hours away, and the beaches 30 minutes away.

There is also a lovely village pub The White hart which also serves good food. We are half an hour away from Plymouth ideal for shopping and many attractions Tavistock is a beautiful old market town only 15 minutes drive The Tamar Trails centre has lots of out door fun things to-do as well as lovely walks
