Our space has hosted over 300 artists, including masters such as Joan Miró, Antoni Tapies, Salvador Dali, and Richard Hamilton, and contemporary talents like Lorenzo Quinn, Juliana Plexxo, Om Barbara and JJ Walker. A welcome drink will be waiting for you while I share an overview of Studio 46 and its significance and fascinating history, starting with the legacy of Barbarà and his collaborations with many iconic 20th-century artists. We’ll explore the workshop, where you’ll learn about various engraving techniques and see some of the incredible works created in this historic space. Finally, we’ll visit the private gallery, still a working studio for many contemporary artists, who continue to reinterpret and innovate engraving and mixed media in exciting ways.
