Pear Blossom Cottage - A Tiny House Retreat

Come enjoy the quietness and beauty of the countryside in this lovely and comfortable Tiny House. Minimalist living in a secluded and quiet country setting, but with all the comforts. Enjoy a full-size shower and regular toilet in this tiny place - no roughing it here. This gem of a cabin is nestled in a beautiful part of Virginia, surrounded by the majestic George Washington National Forest. Woody’s is only 30 minutes from Madison Heights and 37 minutes from downtown Lynchburg.

The Humble Abode is a secluded CAMP & offers a scenic view of DePriest Mountains range and is the perfect place to un-plug & disconnect to reconnect!! Our private and secluded camp provides with spectacular mountain views and a NEW OUTDOOR Shower!! with pressurized ambient water temperature, spacious deck, covered porch, double bed, hammock, yard to play croquet/corn hole, private port-a-potty, charcoal grill, and a solo stove firewood pit.

The Vixen House

This cozy and comfortable home is located within the charming Town of Amherst in a quiet neighborhood very close to Sweet Briar College. It is only a short drive from Lynchburg yet is also convenient to other area attractions, such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, Mt. Pleasant Scenic Area, Wintergreen Resort, and an assortment of local restaurants, wineries, and breweries, including the Rt. 151 "Brew Ridge Trail."

The Cabin at Morris Orchard.

Enjoy a peaceful stay in our early 1800’s log cabin. The Cabin sits at the heart of Morris Orchard, a Virginia Century Farm. From the cabin porch, you will look across the pond and enjoy a view of High Peak Mountain, apple orchards, hayfields, and cattle grazing in the pastures. The cabin has been beautifully renovated, preserving the charm and history of the cabin, while adding all the modern amenities you would expect.

PLEASE NOTE our animals have moved back to our new Airbnb farm stay in Bedford. Guests staying with us in Lynchburg can visit our baby goats and petting zoo free of charge at our Peaks of Otter Farm stay. We have 25 baby goats as of 3-31-25! STAY IN ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFULLY REMODELED BARN STUDIOS. ROMANTIC, BEAUTIFUL, UNIQUE and COZY. We are a quick 3 MILES to LU and close to food and shopping.
