Riverside Apartment, Heart of Llangollen

A self-contained river-facing apartment 50m from the centre of Llangollen. There is direct access out onto the promenade and thence to all the pubs, restaurants and cultural delights of the town. Llangollen appeals particularly to adventurous types (kayaking, climbing, walking, cycling etc.) but there are things to do for everyone no matter how energetic (or not) people feel. Above the apartment is the private house of the owners who are only too happy to help if you need them for any reason.

It is located next to our traditional farmhouse in peaceful countryside on the English/Welsh border. Only 2 miles from Iscoyd Park, also close to Combermere Abbey and Peckforton Castle making it ideal accommodation for wedding guests. She has been lovingly converted to a 1940s home front style complete with four poster bed, vintage kitchen and sole use private and toilet/shower room on site. Enjoy the stunning Shropshire views and sunsets from Bessies rear balcony. She is located less than 3o minutes from historic Shrewsbury in the pretty rural village of Northwood Shropshire. There are two village pubs within walking distance.

We are at 19 century refurbished Stonehouse with off road parking located five minutes walk from Llangollen town centre. We have an abundance of activities including kayaking courses (storage and drying available here) paddle boarding, international mountain bike downhill track. We have numerous walks including the Offa’s Dyke path and for the less energetic, a relaxing horse drawn canalboat experience. We are also in close proximity to many wedding venues in the area.

Our location is four miles from Chester city centre. If you are looking for a tranquil and rural location then this is it. Close enough to the City but located in the countryside on a peaceful road away from noise. You can enjoy pleasant walks from your door. Set on the edge of the Duke of Westminster's estate, this property is ideal for up to two people. Please advise us of any requests to bring a well behaved pet with you, as we have pets including a rescue dog.
