Highlands Cottage

Everyone is welcome, but please note that there is no smoking on the premises. While there are Tea and Coffee making facilities, the accommodation is not Self Catering. It is offered on a Bed and Breakfast basis only. Situated on a quiet country lane about 1 mile outside the town of Gorey in Co. Wexford, Highlands Cottage is a lovely little house set in mature gardens, with flowering bushes, trees, plants and lots of peace and quiet. There is no traffic noise, just the sounds of nature.

This is a family home situated three miles outside of Clonegal village which has many beautiful attractions such as Huntington Castle and the village is the final stage of the Wicklow Way. The house is a short distance to Mount Wolseley Hotel and Golf Course as well as Rathwood Garden Centre. Bunclody town is also close by. It is easily accessed from the M9 Exit 5. Lifts to and from Clonegal as part of the Wicklow Way can be arranged and from bus stops in Tullow and Bunclody.

The Glendalough Visitor Centre and National Park, with its scenic lakes and hiking trails, are only 2 km away. Conveniently located on the main route from Dublin to Glendalough, the accommodation is easily accessible via public transport, including the Glendalough bus and a local link connecting to Dublin/Wexford trains.
