Fall hiking is outstanding & for winter fun, no one is closer to Whiteface Mtn (3 min drive!). Entertainment, shopping and restaurants are walking or close proximity as well.

Walking distance to Craig Wood Golf Club and Scott’s Cobble, direct access from our house to hike, cross country ski, snow shoe, mountain bike, or golf.

Silver Bear Cabin, 15 minutes from Whiteface!

This cabin is in the heart of the high peaks, 15 minutes from Whiteface, and 15 minutes from Lake Placid. It is nestled on a hill right off the main road, overlooking the village of Keene! It is within walking distance from all of the shops in town. Although the driveway is plowed, it is steep, so in the winter you will need four wheel drive. The cabin is off Rt 73, but it is tucked away and very private! You don’t see any neighbors!

Fully furnished kitchen, bath with shower. Quiet space. No smoking indoors. No cats. Dogs allowed but must be well behaved and stay off of the furniture and bedding. Check-in @ 3 PM and beyond. Checkout at 11 AM.
