Private Cottage on Lookout Mountain

The Blue Cottage is located atop beautiful, historic Lookout Mountain. It comfortably accomodates 2 people. The cottage is within walking distance of the Lookout Mountain Flight Park (hang gliding), and within an easy 7-8 mile drive to Rock City, Point Park and Ruby Falls. Cloudland Canyon State Park is just down the road and offers wonderful hiking trails and waterfalls. Pets are allowed. Prior approval is required. A pet fee is charged. Please see house rules or house manual for more detail.

Desoto Cottage

Nestled among 100-year-old pines and lush gardens atop Georgia's beloved Lookout Mountain is the newly remodeled Lookout Mountain Inn. This cottage is ideal for a romantic stay or an extended getaway. It offers a comfy king sized bed, two private bathrooms, two fireplaces, a large sitting area with a trundle bed, a generous kitchenette and a private hot tub. Like all of our cottages, you will have access to the beautiful grounds, the shared swimming pool and firepit, and a hearty breakfast.

Big Living in the Little House

Stay in the country and still eat well. We pay your first $40 for meal delivery per visit, $10 per day after. Pool included for $25 per stay to help with maintenance and chemicals. Trade traffic jams for 2 lane country. Only 10-20 min from downtown. But what we call “going to town” is driving to Flinstone for gas or church. Near Chattanooga, hiking, hang gliding, 10-20 min to Cloudland Canyon, Rock City, Incline, Sunset Rock, Ruby Falls, TN Aquarium, with Lookout Mtn’s bluffs as backdrop

This acreage is nearly untouched forest, where small paths lead down through plentiful mountain laurel, hardwoods and fantastical sandstone boulders that make Lookout Mountain a climbing destination. McLemore is 5 minutes away, and some of North GA and AL’s best state parks are short drive away. Deep on a rural drive and nestled against protected conservation property, the wildlife and stars easily outnumber the humans.

The Rock Creek Cottage on Lookout Mountain is just 8 mins to Covenant College, 12 mins to Rock City, 15 to St Elmo, and 25 to downtown Chattanooga. Set on a large tract of land with beautiful 270 degree views, our house is beautifully set up for couples, families with kids, or family gatherings. We're just moments from Mtn Biking, Hang Gliding, Lula Lake Land Trust, and Cloudland Canyon. Take the short drive to Chattanooga, TN for many other activities and great food scene.

There are so many thing to do on our little farm or travel 15 min away to Chattanooga for a world of adventure.
