Sea View cabin 8min, walk to beach

This is a 1 bedroom cabin with a queen. Duvet and pillows. There is also a pullout sofa bed. It is a place to get away from the hustle and bustle. It is run on gas and solar power. There is no TV or microwave. Leave behind your hair dryer and hair straighteners and enjoy the privacy, peace and view. There is a BBQ available. Linen can be provided for a fee. 1st 2 guests are $100 per night then $10 per head per night after that. We are happy to provide a tent for kids to sleep in out on the lawn.

Welcome to Wharehine Farm Cabin, a cosy off-grid cabin with luxurious touches nestled in the rural community of Wharehine. Surrounded by uninterrupted views of rolling farmland and the coast. Relax watching the endless stars from the outdoor bath or enjoy reading a book and glass of wine snuggled on the couch. Only an hour from Auckland’s north shore, the seven acre property comprises of two separate residences - the farmhouse and the cabin, each with its own separate driveway and amenities.

Tara Valley Cabin

A boutique, sun-drenched and special hideaway set on 5 acres of permaculture tranquility. Your own three private cabins are nestled near 800 year old trees and joined with decks and pathways for you to wander and discover your bath. The bedroom opens out to a covered deck, and the full kitchen has a covered area with a large outdoor dining table and gas BBQ. Up the steps to the bathroom with a fresh, waterless, European electric toilet. Close to nature, beaches, markets, walks, cafes and fun.

Luxury Mangawhai Heads Cabin & 2nd b/rm option

Relax in this calm, stylish space. Set in 4 acres this luxurious cabin with a second bedroom option with 2 single beds at an extra cost of $30 per person per night, this is the ideal place to enjoy the countryside. Being only 4 kms from the beaches, restaurants', cafes', playgrounds, skate park and much more you will be entertained and then able to return to relax away from the hustle and bustle. Enjoy afternoon drinks on the deck while soaking up the peaceful environment. Pets negotiable.

Tui Bush Cabin

Take a short drive (approx 3kms) up the valley from Ngunguru to Tui Bush Cabin. This is where you can relax amongst the native bush, and listen to the tui's chatter from dawn till dusk. Our beautiful small wooden cabin comprises of a fitted kitchen with a 4 burner gas hob, convection microwave, toaster, jug, refrigerator and sink. A drop leaf table and chair. A double bed with sheets and duvet. Separate bathroom with flush toilet, basin and shower. Outside decking with table and chairs.

Bananas, blueberries, figs, pomegranates and a cornucopia of other organic edibles may just be ready for you to sample off the tree, and 2km down the road there is the most beautiful white sand beach where you can swim, spearfish, snorkel or just relax. Situated close to Parua Bay village and Whangarei Heads offering heaps to do, or if you prefer to just chill in the cabin, you have complete privacy for that.

Lazy Acre Cabin

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Try out tiny house living in our wee cabin with a spacious deck for chilling out on after a day out enjoying what the surrounding areas have to offer. 8 Minutes to Mangawhai village and 8 minutes to Kaiwaka makes this the ideal spot to take time out from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. Enjoy the local wineries, beaches, walks and markets. Plenty to enjoy. Walking distance to the Hakaru RSA, Pony club and the iconic Hakaru Hall.

Tranquil rural getaway

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Close enough to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Warkworth and Matakana, but with the Te Aroroa trial (500 metres) and countryside on your doorstep. Less than 10 mins to Warkworth, 15 mins to Matakana with its vineyards & markets, close to Omaha beach and the beautiful Tawharanui Peninsula. A great base to explore this incredible area and then relax after a busy day of hiking, beaching & enjoying the local hospitality.

Welcome to our little slice of paradise. Come chill out, relax and take some time away in our cosy log-style style cabin. Set on a small lifestyle block just 10 minutes drive from Waipu Cove beach and 6-7 minutes from iconic Waipu Village. One bedroom with Queen-size bed, plus separate lounge area with a large, sprawling couch for relaxing & taking in the surrounds. Outdoor seating area to sit and enjoy a cup of tea & while taking in the view across the valley.

Moonrise was inspired by the movies of Wes Anderson. You will find it down a private country road in a garden filled with many birds who visit from the bush and nearby wetlands. At night the sky is full of stars. We have carefully crafted the cabins to provide a quirky off grid life and a tranquil experience where you can recharge in nature, read or play boardgames. The beach, along with shops and cafes are a 7 minute drive away and bush walks are just up the road.
