A beautiful and private location in the country, conveniently located 15-20 minutes from Raglan, Bridal Veil Falls, Ruapuke Beach, and Karioi Mountain. Very private with easy access from your own parking area. Mature fruit trees throughout the property provide fresh fruit in season. A private yard with expansive views. We are located in the country between 2 Dairy Farms. Your closest neighbor is Fred our Pink Boar & Wilma our Wessex Sow. No light pollution here, the night sky is spectacular!

Self Contained Cottage

Kia ora and welcome to Chaparral Sunset. Your hosts Lyn and Keith welcome you into their rural fully self-contained accommodation. Our cosy guest house has Sky TV, wireless internet, a guest BBQ and well equipped kitchen. Babies under 6 months are free. There is a charge of $20.00 a night for children older than 6 months, a free porta-cot (including mattress and bedding) is available on request. Pets are welcome, please let us know when you book so we can lock our free range chooks away.

We have regional parks, black sand beaches, local tracks to ride your mountain bikes or take your kayak for a paddle within easy distance from our home. Pack a picnic and walk to our rock bottom stream or just enjoy a quiet country walk on our farmland.

Private studio with spectacular views. Hosts house on same property so readily available, self catering but meals available by arrangement. A place to relax and get away from it all, nearby Nikau Caves and Cafe, Port Waikato surf beach and Harkers Resrve for Bush Walks ,We now have aircon and wifi. We do have a couple of dogs who like to greet guests in the morning with a bark but it doesn’t go on for long and not every morning
