Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

The Swallow's Nest

Please don't come here - If you're looking for big city lights, mod cons & public transport. Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Oldmills Cottage - Comfortable Retreat

Oldmills Cottage offers an ideal getaway for family and friends. This traditional 270+ year old cottage has been beautifully renovated into a modern and cosy retreat set in the tranquil settings of County Laois. Besides traditional features and a wood burning stove, it offers all modern conveniences' including Wi-Fi. Oldmills is perfectly located to enjoy the countryside, as well as the many outdoor activities on offer and is in easy reach to Dublin. You will need your own form of transport.

Villa Jokubas The Waterfall

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. One Drink Included.

Surrounded by beautiful nature reserves this cozy space is devoted to peace and relaxation and a haven for nature lovers.

Hawes Barn - 200 Year Old Cottage

Set within the Croc An Oir Estate (translated as Crock of Gold) and tucked away down a leafy boreen, this beautifully restored, converted stone barn offers a truly relaxing holiday where hospitality and a traditional Irish experience is offered in abundance. Croc an Oir is a romantic retreat for a couple, and traditional features include a cosy woodburner, a half door, arched windows and a delightful loft style bedroom. There is also a private courtyard and garden.

Located halfway between Portlaoise and Kilkenny, this is the ideal spot to stop and relax in the scenic countryside while touring the many local attractions. The fact that we are in The Midlands, makes it's the perfect location to visit other counties from, as everywhere is within only a few hours drive. My place is a rustic retreat in the countryside.It is part of a Georgian residence over 200 years d. It is located on a farm and ideal for a relaxing break.it is just a few minutes walk to the beautiful woodlands of Emo where one can enjoy many different walking routes. Emo Court , designed by James Gandon is a few minutes away.
