A swim in the lake is just a skip across the road. Soak up the afternoon sun whilst taking in the amazing 180 degree views of the lake & mountains from the comfort of the living room or the private courtyard and balcony.

The White Cottage

A quaint traditional period home set at the edge of a 100 acre farm. Although it is one of 3 homes on the property it still very much retains its unique quiet country feel. You’ll love the cottage because of its outdoor views down the valley, neighboring farmlets & dairy farms. It has extensive outdoor space being adjacent to the local forest park. My place is good for couples, small families. Being a hobby farm there is stock on the property which can be easily viewed from the cottage.

Tastefully renovated fully equipt house and new sleepout. Fully insulated with double glazed windows. Large bathroom, gas hot water and large kitchen/dining/family room opening onto a large deck for alfresco living. Warm and cosy in winter (heatpump), shade in summer with large flat section of lawn, garden and trees. Very close to river within walking distance across the bridge to Turangi shops. Lake Terrace Unit with Private Thermal Pool

This property has two sunny double bedrooms available with queen beds and a day bed in the living area suitable for one adult or child. The sunsets, lake and mountain views are spectacular. This is a great central spot for a summer or winter break. This is modern accommodation with a well equipped new kitchen and has everything for a relaxing stay in Taupo. The pool can be filled within an hour of arrival and is perfect after a day's tramping, skiing, kayaking or serious shopping!

Trout Hideaway

Unlimited WiFi Warm three bedroom home with everything you need to be comfortable. In a quiet street cul de sac. Excellent wood burner and heat pump for those cold winter nights and air con for those hot summer nights. Close to Mount Ruapehu and Lake Taupo. Ideal for those wanting to ski, tramp, fish, or enjoy all the attractions around Central Plateau. Excellent base for the Tongariro Crossing. My place is close to family-friendly activities and restaurants and dining.

"The End of the Road"

The bach is well equipped, but GUESTS MUST SUPPLY OWN LINEN (sheets, pillow slips & towels), and CLEAN it before leaving. It is a fisherman's bach at the end of a quiet street. Lake Taupo is a 10 minute walk and the Tauranga Taupo River nearby. We have plenty of duvets and blankets. NO WIFI. If you are unable to clean the house before you leave or supply your own linen it's better if you find a motel or hotel nearby. We keep the price lower by not having a cleaning fee.

Rainbows End Cottage

A cute, clean and cosy cottage in a peaceful and secluded native bush setting. Only a 2 minute stroll to the Lake or the beautiful spring fed Waitahanui River, and 10 minutes from the centre of Taupo township. 58 inch LED TV, Blu Ray DVD and movies as well as a heat pump air conditioner and free WiFi. Linen and bedding is provided. Spa is only available May 1st to September 30th. Please send an enquiry regarding pets prior to sending a booking request.

Nestled in a private estate with tree lined driveway. Resting Kiwi is a generous 2-bedroom stylish apartment that looks out through cedar bifolds to the lake. Bush track to family friendly swimming bay. TV lounge, well equipped kitchenette (which forms part of the main bedroom), private barbecue patio, outside dining, bathroom with tiled shower and sep toilet. Free use of paddle boards and kayak. Walk to the fabulous bar brasserie, store or local cafe.

From here you can launch your boat in 5 mins, stroll to safe swimming bay in 10 mins or dine at our local brasserie in 3 mins!
