Many guests have been "working from home with a different view"! One family dog (under 25#) is OK – and you must inquire in advance. The Red Earth Palace Retreat

An architectural gem on fifteen private acres of pristine high desert mesa, bordering the Rio Grande gorge park. A living and breathing piece of art nestled amongst junipers trees, pinon and sage brush, offering sweeping views of the surrounding valley and river gorge. Sustainably built with cast earth walls, corrugated metal roof, radiant heat, and Japanese style mahogany wood work, plus all the amenities and comforts of a modern home. This sustainable house is bright, light, and airy with clean lines and unique details. Like all Earthships this house is built from natural and repurposed materials such as used automobile tires, cardboard, old cans and bottles. All electricity for the house is from solar. All water is from the sky. More comfort, less hippie.

It's been used as a recording studio too, If you like taking awesome photographs, this is THE place. Cozy, comforting! Pets are welcome and must be leashed! Cat box provided by request!
