If you want to experience rural Alaskan lifestyle, are independent, enjoy being immersed in nature, enjoy peace and quiet, you will love it here:) The yurt is located in the backyard of our home. You will have privacy but may possibly hear the sweet sounds of happy children every now and then:)

Talkeetna Burl Cabin is pet friendly cabin located 5 miles from Talkeetna on a quiet country street. Many prior guests have written that their stay was one of the best they had in Alaska! Breakfast goodies and coffee are provided so you can relax during your stay. Please note that this is a dry cabin, water is provided and it also has an inside composting toilet. Our cozy cabin is a lovely couple minute walk down to Christiansen Lake public access and less than 4 miles from the Talkeetna town center. Use the grill for a nice lunch in the sun or take the two provided beach cruiser bikes for a ride into town. Talkeetna offers epic flights seeing tours, scenic train rides to Denali Park, jet boat tours and much more. Winter visitors can enjoy miles of groomed cross country ski trails and amazing views of the northern lights.

You are just one block from the Spur Road and bike path, and ten minutes from downtown Talkeetna.

The TKA Chalet is about a mile from the train station, so please plan accordingly
