This nice, comfortable and relaxing cottage is ideally located in the golden circle in the South coast of Iceland. It's a great location to see the Northern lights /Aurora Borealis if the weather conditions are right. The cottage is one area and has double bed (160x200cm) and a sleeping sofa. We provide linen, towels and soap etc. Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need. We have a baby crib and high chair for your children. Surrounding the property is a beautiful lava garden with a deck that offers spectacular views on the nature park, lots of hikes, a romantic lake and nearby new volcano and Blue Lagoon.

The Secret Cabin with hot tube in Nature Reserve

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

Beautiful nice house (the one on the left) for 2-4 people, with 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed (for 1-2 persons). The house has a kitchenette and bathroom. Sólvangur is a horse-breeding farm in the South Coast of Iceland. You will have wonderful views to nature, horses, sheep, dogs and cats in the surroundings. Stable shop is on sight if you like to know the Icelandic horse by doing a riding lessons, children ride or a stable visit. You will get link after you have confirm your booking.
