A number of walks along beaches and fossilised landscapes start here. 2km from the fish traps made by old Hunter Gatherer Cultures , 3km from a shipwreck, 5km from the lighthouse. Our area is rich in history with wine farms to visit & beautiful yellow Canola fields late winter early spring.

At Patat cottage is situated within Langezandt Fisherman's Village in Struisbaai. It is a relaxing 2-hour drive from Cape Town, through the Cape Overberg region. This cottage is nearby Cape Agulhas, the southermost tip of Africa. A visit to the charming fishing village of Struisbaai is highly recommended.
