In der Nähe von lokalen Pubs und einem Geschäft. 5 Fahrminuten von einem Supermarkt und einem Einkaufszentrum entfernt. Das Ferienhaus ist komplett renoviert mit wunderschön präsentierter neuer Küche, Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer, Toilette im Erdgeschoss, einem neuen Badezimmer und 2 großen Schlafzimmern. Keine zusätzlichen Gebühren.

Eingebettet in die Landschaft etwas außerhalb von York ist „The Kennel“ ein entspannender und friedlicher Rückzugsort. Dieses kleine, aber perfekt geformte, eigenständige Nebengebäude befindet sich in drei Hektar neu gepflanztem Wald, in dem du oft die Schleiereulen, Waldkauze und Zwergohreulen beobachten kannst, die die Futterstellen besuchen, um gefüttert zu werden. Es gibt einen Garten, einen kleinen Obstgarten, einen Wildteich und ein Bienenhaus mit bis zu 4 Bienenstöcken, die uns mit köstlichem Honig versorgen. Auf der Rückseite der Unterkunft befindet sich eine Whisky- und Gin-Destillerie.

Grooms Cottage is on a private estate right next to the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle. The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. The hut has cooking facilities (oven and a hob), there is also a fire pit for barbecues and a picnic table for outdoor dining. You have exclusive use of a hot tub which is right next to the hut.
