Entertainment District Loft

Our building was built in 1930. The apartment was originally a boarding house that sat above a retail store. While it has been fully remodeled, the exposed brick walls, wood floors, transom doors, and much of the trim are original to the building, retaining its ninety year old charm. The sitting area and the front bedroom each have a door that opens onto the balcony that over looks the downtown entertainment district. The areas best shops, boutiques, and restaurants are on the same block!

The property has a large carport as well as a large parking lot that can accommodate boats and RVs. The home has a large great room to lounge and relax. The bedroom offers a full size bed.

From family reunions to camp outs, birthday parties and even senior portraits, this property holds a special place in our hearts. The Austin House-Glen Arbor is convenient to Birmingham, Huntsville, and surrounding areas-close to interstates- walking distance to great restaurants and entertainment. As of 11-9-23 we are no longer a pet friendly rental. *complete bathroom model- Feb 2022**. Please note- we love guests. But, our home is not a party house- even for bridal and groomsmen.

It is great for couples looking for a romantic getaway as well as families looking to escape the chaos of life and unwind. Enjoy peace and quiet as you overlook our 2 acre pond or take advantage of all of the daily farming activities as we care for our horses, goats, sheep, pig, ducks, chickens, and rabbits.
