The Lodge Mountainview is a short scenic trip off the Wild Atlantic Way, This brand new log cabin is situated at the foot of the Ox Mountains in the village of Attymass which is a place of mountains and lakes and breath taking scenery. There is a newly opened loop walk which passes Ballymore lake with breath taking views, for the more experienced walker The Foxford way has amazing views and goes along the Ox Mountains. If its cycling why not bring your bikes/bike for a trek around the area.

This unique and exceptional property is set on fifteen acres of truely stunning grounds comprising of mixed woodland,viewing platforms for abundant wildlife,boat house and boat with private access to one of the most beautiful lakes in Ireland (if required,please inquire). Lough Key with its 32 islands is a gem. All of the bigger islands were inhabited at some stage for at least 2000 years. Abbeys,castles,crannogs and ruins adorn this very special area. Not to mention fishing,horse riding etc.

Situated along the Bogland trails, why not enjoy a day admiring the views & spotting the abundance of local wildlife, before returning to take a dip in the tub.

Riverwalk chalet

Chalet is set in a tranquil location 2 mins walk from the famous salmon fishing river Drowes. Pet friendly set on 20 acres with an old woodland along the river. Owner has a very friendly female chocolate Labrador who’s free roaming around the garden. A large wood fired sauna is available for use (see ‘other details’ for more info).
