Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Gate Lodge on Conservation Farm Isle of Skye

With no running water or cooking facilities, this is not for the faint hearted. Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, listen to the waterfall.

Beautiful setting by the sea. 15 minute drive from Portree. Close to local bus route. Plenty of local wildlife to sit and observe. Within walking distance of local hotel. A lovely little Shepherd's Hut situated in the small village of Torrin on the Isle of Skye. Enjoy breathtaking views with you morning coffee or BBQ dinner. The beach is located a short walk from your hut where you will find an array of wildlife including the mighty Golden & Sea Eagle's, otter's and Seal's. Beach, Sea, Mountains and Wildlife what more could you ask for.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.

Ploughman's Rest

Ploughman's Rest is situated in the beautiful village of Torrin with stunning views of Blaven and the Red Cuillins. Torrin is 7 miles from the main village Broadford where you can find the local shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. A great place to get an early start for adventures into the cuillins and boat trips into Loch Courisk and the Small Isles.
