Our secluded cabins are on top of a mountain with on-property access to the Doe Mountain Recreational Area. Close to National and State Parks, Skiing, Hiking, Camping, Watauga Lake, Boone and Blowing Rock, NC; Damascus and Abingdon, VA . We are centrally located to major attractions but be careful if sightseeing, adventure, or family fun is on your agenda. Once you are here, you might not want to leave. Great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids). Dog friendly.

Ruby's Rest

NO CLEANING FEES. NO TO DO LISTS BEFORE CHECKING OUT. NO PET FEES. Cozy, private one room cottage (with bathroom), run by a loving, easy-going, non-judging family. Cottage measures 12' x 24' (total of 288sq. feet). Very relaxed environment. Flat rate of $50.00. UPDATE: Deck is now enclosed with old window panes. Super cozy. Has a sink with hot/old water, a hot plate, large toaster oven, and utensils. I am am still putting finishing touches on it, but available for use. Pictures soon.

Hoss’s Tiny House

The tiny house is located behind a big garage with a large gravel parking lot. It is very secluded and quaint away from the main road. The parking area is behind at the back porch on the tiny house were you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet. We are 1 mi from South Holston Lake. 2 mi from Creeper Trail, 6 mi Main Street Abingdon, 8 mi downtown Bristol, 10 mi Bristol Speedway. We have farm animals in the fields beside the tiny house that are very friendly. All the farm animals enjoy visitors.

A Gathering Place in the Valley

This is a modern yet homey space. Downstairs has a gourmet kitchen. Gas stove top, double ovens and dishwasher and concrete counters. There is a half bath on lower level. Beautiful yard with decks and plenty of seating. Upstairs is a big open loft space. Has 3 full size beds. Great for a couple, a family or a group of friends. Has an amazing ensuite bathroom with a huge shower with a giant rain head. Has 2 decks overlooking the beautiful yard with plenty of seating A place to remember.

The North Star Dome

Unplug & reconnect with nature. The Dome is nestled on our farm's off-grid hilltop. Tremendous mountain views, peace, and animals to visit! This is CAMPING, elevated with comforts. We provide the climate controlled dome, comfy bed (BYO sheets), griddle, and basic supplies. You bring: Queen size bedding, drinking water, cooler, & firewood. Outdoor shower OPEN till October 1st. BEAUTIFUL SETTING by the River ONLY 6 mile drive to DAMASCUS ,VA! This quaint, private RUSTIC log cabin is newly furnished, screened in porch, gazebo and nice trails! Nestled on 7 acres with 8 ponds. Hear the sounds of the creek right behind the cabin and cross the bridge to see the horses! This Land was home to the Cherokees and offers not only a place to stay but an experience. One time PET FEE $100.00 for ONE small dog under 30lb, additional small dogs $35/each

Scott Hill Cabin #2

This is our second cabin built by hand. It has a kitchen with a stove, mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot. It also has basic cooking necessities. The cabin has a full size bed. The restroom has a sink and stand up shower. We will provide towels and linens. Despite the listing saying 2 beds, it is in fact, 1 double bed. Sorry for the listing mistake. We allow pets, but ask for prior knowledge. We are just minutes from 2 separate trailheads to the Appalachian Trail.
