In this village you will find multiple cafés, bars, restaurants, a well-stocked supermarket and various independent local stores. In the sorrounding areas there multiple blue flag river beaches for safe swimming or even paddel boarding. Most have excelent cafés and bars. The area has many excellent places of interest to entertain our visitors, including Fraga da Pena waterfall and Piódão, a famous xiste village

Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.
